READY FOR THE 2016 SEASON

Most courses are open and we are getting the spring showers needed to get those courses in shape. The Masters is just around the corner and registration for our 2016 tournaments will open tomorrow. Now is the time to plan your schedule for this season. You'll see we have several new events on the schedule including Dellwood CC, Bunker Hills and Keller. We of course have the player favorites, Willingers, Stoneridge, Troy Burne, The Wilds and TPC and we are making a return to Logger's Trail for our opener and Baker National in mid-summer.

Starting tomorrow you may register for as many of our local tournaments as you like. I do not process your credit cards until the week before the event for our local tournaments (Majors and other cities will process your cards immediately upon registration). While you're at it please be sure to look at the MAJORs schedule as events through July are already open for registration and filling up fast. There are still a few spots open for Blackwolf Run in May. We have 17 MN tour members currently registered. Don't wait or you'll miss out on the closest MAJOR of the season.

We have 10 new members so far this year. Players joining in March;

-Brian Greavu of Woodbury will be playing in Sarazen
-Tyler Petter of Fargo playing in Hogan
-Steve Springer of Plymouth playing in Sr. Sarazen
-Steve Schubert of St. Paul, former member returning after a few years off, playing in Palmer
-Scott Schirmers of Nowthen playing in Palmer

As of today our flight distribution looks like this. As you can see we can use some new blood in Jones/Snead so please take advantage of our referral program and invite some of your friends to give us a try or have them call me for more information.

-20 in Palmer/Sr. Palmer
-13 in Hogan/Sr. Hogan
-15 in Sarazen/Sr. Sarazen
-5 in Jones/Sr. Jones
-4 in Snead/Sr. Snead

As a reminder, you should start posting your local round scores into our handicap system as of tomorrow. You should have been posting rounds from this winter played in any region with an Active Season. Your Am Tour tournament rounds will automatically be posted to your handicap record in our system. Remember too that if you have another handicap service provider you must maintain those records separately with the goal of having all of them reflect the same handicap index.

We are ready. Trophies are ordered, Golfsmith gift cards are in hand and the signage is refreshed. Get out and practice so you are ready for our opener at Logger's Trail on May 1 and the beginning of your Journey to Better.

Regards,
Bruce
