Sr. National Championships Complete

The final day was also one of the nicest. 6 National champions were crowned this afternoon.
Dan Geske's final round 80 put him in 19th place in Championship flight.

Marc Redman shot an 82 today and hung on to a tie for 9th place in Palmer. He also hit the jackpot again with another SKIN for his eagle on the 16th hole of the South course. I had a third round of 83 to finish at T40, John Juntilla shot 78 with 2 birdies and winds up T48. Dean Dubreuil finished with a 91.

All 3 of our Sarazen players shot an 89 today. Ed Favorite finished T78 while Paul Alexander and Dam Barrett wind up T81.

Warren Ferber, Jones, had his best round of the week with an 85 on the North course moving him up into a tie for 28th place. Vicki Burns shot a 97 and wound up T53.

Todd Klocke shot a 97 to lead our threesome in Snead. He finished T10. Mike Miller shot his low round of the week with a 90 to move way up and finish T31 while Pete Rojas carded a 105 to finish in 49th place.

Many of our players and spouses got together for one more dinner before heading home.
It's hard to believe that Nationals have come and gone already. I'm ready to head home. I'm very grateful and proud for the 19 players and spouses who attended this year. All said they were glad they came and are looking forward to next season. If you are sitting at home thinking this sounded like a good time then you should make up your mind now to qualify for next years Championship.

Don't forget we have one more event on our schedule at Purple Hawkon Oct. 5th. Registration is open now. I hope to see you there.
