Opener Registration Deadline Looming

Less than two weeks before we kick off the 2015 summer season. The tournament registration deadline is next Saturday at 11:00 PM. Last years opener was at Rush Creek and perhaps the most competitive. Our champions were Dan Geske in Championship flight (in a playoff), Dean Sengstock, Palmer (in a playoff), Johnnie Adams, Hogan (in a playoff), Matt Harter, Sarazen (in a playoff) and Mike Miller in Snead. Will you be one of our next Champions?


After registration closes I will charge your credit card and you will receive an email indicating you have been approved to play. I will also confirm the number of golfers with the golf course to secure the proper number of tee times. If we have an odd number of registered golfers I may be able to re-open registration for another day or two to fill remaining spots, but don't count on it. A cancellation and refund requested after registration closes will be charged $7.50 to cover credit card fees unless you choose to transfer the money to a future tournament. Pairings will be posted by Thursday nightbefore the tournament and an email will be sent to all participants. Please make sure you are updating your scoring record in our system so I am able to verify handicaps before the tournament. Please also familiarize yourself with our dress code (in the Player Handbook), the GCAT Hard Card and the Notice to Competitors (both found on the tournament information page).


If you have a guest who would like to try out an event please have them contact me to register. Guests are not eligible for prizes or Skins.


Congrats to Mike Miller who finished 2nd in a playoff for the Snead flight at Falcon Ridge in Lenexa, KS last weekend.


I’ve been busy getting things ready for another great season. Gift cards and trophies are in and I've received all new signage with the new tour brand. People will definitely know we are at the course. We will once again offer the 50/50 raffle in support of David Feherty’s Troops First Foundation. I'm also adding a closest to the pin contest which is included in the tournament registration fee. There will be separate divisions based on the tee box played the same as we do SKINs. Winners will receive a $25 gift card.
