January Tour Update

Happy New Year. As you have probably seen already, the presenting sponsor of the GOLF CHANNEL Am Tour is now Srixon and we've added True Linkswear as our official shoe.  Several of this years majors feature True Linkswear as the title sponsor including Blackwolf Run in Kohler, WI May 16-17. 

Six majors opened for registration today including Blackwolf Run. Majors fill quite fast, in some cases in minutes rather than days.  Sign up as soon as possible to ensure your place. Among the others are the former home of the Childrens Miracle Network at Disney World and the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, FL.

In case you missed the announcement Nationals will be held at PGA West in LaQuinta, CA Sept. 18-22 (mid-Am) and Sept. 24-28 (seniors). Please note that the eligibility requirements have changed to require you participate in 6 tournaments with two of them on/after June 1.  Plan your schedule accordingly.

I'm happy to announce two more new members have joined us this week.  Please join me in welcoming them to the Tour.

Mr. Doug Zuck of Eden Prairie and playing out of the Chaska Town Course and TPC Twin Cities will be competing in Palmer.

Mr. Robert Gardner of Plymouth and playing out of Pioneer Creek will be competing in Sr. Championship. 

I hope your resolutions for the new year include plenty of golf.  If you are traveling to warm weather cities this winter remember to check out their tournament schedule.
